Juvéderm® in Indianapolis, IN: How Does It Work?

Juvederm in Indianapolis Indiana

Dr. Amy offers Juvéderm®, one of the leading hyaluronic acid (HA) fillers on the market, from Allergan, the makers of Botox®. Juvéderm is made of hyaluronic acid (HA), a naturally occurring substance found in the skin that plays a role in the production of collagen for maintaining volume.

It also helps retain moisture and softness. As we age, hyaluronic acid decreases in our skin and leads to volume loss. Our skin then begins to droop and sag and fine lines and wrinkles will begin to appear.

Juvéderm will restore lost volume in treated areas by replenishing hyaluronic acid and enabling an increase in the natural production of collagen. It can reduce the signs of aging by filling in the wrinkles seen when your face is at rest.

Juvéderm can be used on many areas including the lips, cheeks, lines from the nose to the mouth, lines from the mouth to the chin, hands and temples. Juvéderm® is not a permanent treatment and cannot give you the same results as plastic surgery.

The effects can last anywhere from six months to two years. The Juvéderm® formula is non animal-based and has very low risk of allergic reaction or rejection. It is an FDA-approved hyaluronic acid that has a proven track record of safety.

Benefits of Juvederm Treatment
