What is the procedure like for porcelain veneers?
Receiving a porcelain veneer will require multiple visits to our Indianapolis dental office. The first step is visiting our office for a consultation. During the consultation, Dr. Marckese will examine your teeth and determine if you are a good candidate for porcelain veneers, or if another cosmetic dental procedure will help improve your smile. If porcelain veneers are right for you, Dr. Marckese will remove a small amount of tooth structure from your tooth. Dr. Marckese will then take impressions of your teeth that will be sent to a dental laboratory where your porcelain veneers will be designed. You will be given temporary veneers for 2-3 weeks while your porcelain veneers are being created. Once your porcelain veneers are created, Dr. Marckese will attach your porcelain veneers and check their fit, shape, and color. If necessary, Dr. Marckese will make any adjustments to your porcelain veneers.
